Resolution on his case is not expected until later in the year.

In 2022, the Canadian government announced that it had banned senior Iranian officials from the country and that those who are already deported here will be deported.

This measure was in response to the brutal repression of the women’s rights demonstrations in Tehran, as well as the patronage of the Iranian state of terrorist groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah and the Yemeni Hathlemen.

Since the federal government climbed to Tehran, enforcement officers have opened investigations into dozens of alleged regime officials who believed in Canada.

But so far, only two sessions resulted in deportation orders, and a former official in the regime has been sent to Iran, although CBSA has said that many others had left voluntarily.
