Six people were killed after a light plane belonging to a medical charity in the Capitol in Kenya crashed, Nairobi, according to a local official.

Charitable doctors, Amrif Al -Tabar, said that the Sena plane took off from Wilson Airport on Thursday afternoon and was on its way to Hargisa in Somalia when it crashed and exploded in a residential building in the Jaithrai area of Nairobi.

Henry Wovea, Capo Province Commissioner, said that four people on the plane were killed, including doctors, nurses and pilots – as well as two other people on the ground, while two others were seriously injured.

The investigators were sent to the scene to prove his case.

The Civil Aviation Authority in Kenya said that the plane had lost the radio and radar connection with air traffic monitoring just three minutes after take off.

The Charitable Society said that there were four crew employees and Amref on board.

“At this time, we are fully cooperating with relevant aviation authorities and response to emergency situations to establish the facts surrounding the situation,” Stephen Gito, CEO of AMREF, said in a statement.

The Defense Forces in Kenya and the National Police Service were deployed at the scene to conduct searches and recovery.

Patricia Combo told the BBC that she was in a taxi with her friends heading to Gythary when they heard a loud tight and red flash in front of them.

“Before I could take my phone to record the flash, the smoke was rising. Then we heard people screaming and running, so we finished our journey.

“We discovered that it was a plane crash and we saw the steady hole that the accident created on the ground,” she said.

In a separate incident, a train and bus collided with a railway crossing near Naifasha, central Kenya, killing at least four people, according to Reuters news agency, citing a red cross employees.

The Kenya pipeline company, which participated in the accident, said that it was carrying the employees who ended the morning attack in one of its training centers and that all the injured employees were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
