Chelsea and Lamingo had almost unbearable conditions in the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia last week during the club’s World Cup.
With the rise in temperatures to 39 degrees Celsius, Pennsylvania announced a “healthy emergency” – which means opening specialized cooling centers and temporarily banned water companies from cutting service.
But not only humans in Philadelphia are protected from heat – they are dogs too.
Sniffer dogs around the stadium were seen wearing crocodiles to protect their feet from red sidewalks.
According to the Chelsea players received by the extraordinary scene before they were defeated 3-1 against Flamengo, with the security protocol that requires all team buses and employees to pass through the same checkpoints as anyone else.
Dogs have given plastic shoes to avoid burning the lower sides of their feet while working on excessive surfaces outside.
At least the dogs got the heat overcoming elegance.
