Hundreds of people in Paris were arrested after clashes with the police, after Paris Saint -Germain fans (PSG) celebrated their club’s victory in the Champions League final.

The officers arrested nearly 300 people after the clashes erupted near the Chamis Illis Street in the city and the Park Deep Princess Stadium in Paris Saint-Germain, where he saw nearly 50,000 people a 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in Munich on large screens.

Blaces and fireworks were stopped, and bus shelters and cars were destroyed amid wild celebrations.

The chaos came after Paris Saint -Germain won the largest football award for the European Club for the first time in its history.

The majority of the fans celebrated peacefully, with a lot of singing and dancing in the streets, or exploding their centuries.

The Eiffel Tower was lighting in blue and red colors in Paris Saint -Germain, and French President Emmanuel Macron, a strong supporter of Olympic de Marseille, was published on X: “A glorious day for PSG! Bravo, we are all proud. Paris, the capital of Europe this evening.”

Nearly 5,400 police were deployed throughout Paris in anticipation of loud celebrations.

Paris police said that most of nearly 300 detained people suspected of having fireworks and caused disturbance.

“Rioters were on Champs Illisis looking to create accidents and repeatedly continued with the police by throwing big fireworks and other things,” police said in a statement.

It seems that joint footage on social media, which has not been verified by the BBC, shows crowds trying to storm many stores at Champs-Elelysées, including Chanel and Foot Locker.

According to the riot police used a water cannon to prevent a crowd from reaching the arc de triomphe, and fired tear gas in the crowd.

Other clashes took place between the police and the crowds on the Paris Ring Road. At least two cars were ignited near the Parc Des Princess stadium in PSG.

French Interior Minister Bruno Ritayo took a difficult line against the turmoil, as he wrote on social media: “The real PSG supporters enjoy their wonderful match.

“Meanwhile, the barbarians moved to the streets of Paris to commit crimes and stir up the police.”

Meanwhile, outside Paris, the police said that a car was liberated in PSG fans in Grenoble in southeast France, leaving four people who were injured.

The police said that all those who were injured were from the same family. Two were seriously injured.

The driver handed himself to the police and placed it in detention. A source close to the investigation told the news agency to Agence France Presse that he believed the driver was not intentionally acting.

The PSG team will retain victory over Champs-Elelysees in Paris on Sunday when it is expected that tens of thousands of supporters will gather for a glimpse of their returning team.

Macron’s office said it would host the victorious players on Sunday to congratulate them.
