A look at next day in the European and global markets from Ray Wei

The markets in Britain are likely to return from the long weekend with a stir on Tuesday after Donald Trump appeared due to its 50 % tariff in the European Union, although fears of wrong policy attacks may make the elevator short -term.

FTSE futures rose sharply in Asia Wall Street similarly to a strong open, after the money market was closed to spend a vacation in the previous session.

Asian stocks fell on Tuesday, indicating that investors are still hesitant.

The latest US President’s definitions on the European Union’s tariff enhances how his unpredictable commercial policies and undermining the investor’s fragile confidence in the American economy are already.

The temporary re -trade process did little to help the dollar, which remained stuck near its lowest level in Tuesday, and was appointed to a fifth monthly decline against a basket of major currencies. It would represent the longest losing chain since 2017.

There is little in the data evaluation on Tuesday, leaving investors focusing on events later in the week, including NVIDIA profits.

Ai Belweether is expected to have a 65.9 % jump in the revenue of the first quarter on Wednesday, and Wall Street will closely see evidence of the impact of the most stressful American export restrictions on the sales of artificial intelligence chips to China.

The sources told Reuters that NVIDIA will launch a new artificial intelligence group for China at a much lower price than the recent H20 model and plans to start huge production early in June.

Also on the deck, there are speeches from federal policy makers, as well as the basic PCE price index data on Friday, which can provide evidence of price expectations.

An annual conference was launched for two days hosted by the Bank of Japan and the affiliate thinking on Tuesday, with the global central bankers gathering in Tokyo to focus on two uncomfortable realities: outstanding economic growth and sticky inflation.

The main developments that can affect the markets on Tuesday:

2025 BOJ-TEMS conference in Tokyo

Bitcoin 2025 Conference in Las Vegas

French initial inflation (May)
