The center ends with 25 priority products for IPS for the semi -connectors; SCL update to go to the Council of Ministers soon

The Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Ashwini Fishnaw, said that the center has ended 25 priority semiconductor products that will be supported by an Indian semiconductor mission (ISM) to accelerate the creation of original intellectual property (IP).

“These products extend at the high value of low size, medium -sized in the middle of value, and low -value categories. The matrix has been completed and will be supported as part of the task,” Vaishnaw pointed out that the local IP will help the transition from the manufacturing center to the innovation partner in the global supply chain.

The minister also confirmed that exports are an integral part of the semiconductor strategy in India. He said: “You will produce the ten projects that have been approved so far for India and also the world.”

Looking at the future, ISM 2.0 will focus on the ecosystem partnerships and the development of a full set of slides. “An important part of the next stage will go to supportive equipment makers, material manufacturers, and the development of the designed slides here, with IP rights in India,” explained VaishNaw.

He added that the ecological design system grows faster than expected, as more than 28 emerging companies move from concept to the product stage in light of the designing incentive scheme. He said that startups are ready with Internet Things and SOCS slices for cameras and consumer and industrial chips, while Iit Madras recently released their own control.

On the SCL Laboratory in Mawali, Vaishnaw said that the update is progressing quickly and will soon go to the Council of Ministers. The facility that was promoted will not only expand production, but also as a test center for researchers and startups. “We need a facility that can verify the authenticity of the new products designed in India before commercial production,” he said.

Vaishnaw emphasized that global confidence in India stems from its respect for intellectual property rights and cooperative approach. He said: “We have always gone to the world as a partner, a co -developer and a participant producer, with the aim of winning the results.”
