MOOONINS, the beloved of the river -loved Finland, celebrates its eighty -eighty birthday. During the weekend, the fans flocked to Tambiri in southern Finland to celebrate the anniversary of the publication in 1945 as well as the birthday of Yanson. The characters have since appeared in other books, comedy and TV programs.
