The Brazilian judge orders the arrest of the Speaker of the House of Representatives from the former president

The Brazilian Supreme Court ordered the status of former right -wing President Gear Bolsonaro under house arrest.

He stands on the trial because of allegations that he drew a coup, Who denies it.

The judge responsible for the investigation of Bolsonaro, Alexander de Morris, said that the decision was that Bolsonaro did not comply with the restrictions that were presented to him last month.

In response to the matter, Bolsonaro’s legal team denied violating any restrictions and said they would appeal the referee, according to Reuters.

In a statement issued by X, the US State Department said it “condemns” the court and “will hold all those who help and incite the disabled behavior.”

Donald Trump used the trial of Bolsonaro, which he calls “the charming chase”, as a justificer to impose a 50 % tariff on some Brazilian commodities although the United States has a trade surplus with Brazil.

Mr. Morais, who also approved the United States, said that Bolsonaro used social networks of his allies, including his sons, to publish messages that encouraged attacks on the Supreme Court and foreign intervention in the Brazilian judiciary.

On Sunday, Polsonaro’s supporters were held in various Brazilian cities. One of his sons, Valvio, a member of the Senate, has briefly put his father on the loudspeaker to the crowd in Rio de Janeiro.

According to Felvio later reported a video clip, he was then deleted from his father on the other side of the call to send a message to the supporters.

Mr. Morris cited the incident in his rule, saying that Bolsonaro “has ended intentionally,” according to local media.

“The blatant ignorance of preventive measures was so clear that – he was carrying repetition – the defendant’s son, Senator Flavio Nantes Bolsonaro, decided to delete the post from his Instagram account in order to hide the legal recovery.”

Mr. Moriaes also banned Polsonaro from receiving visits, except for lawyers or persons authorized by the Supreme Court, and from using a mobile phone directly or through third parties.

“Justice is blind, but this is not a fool,” he added, adding that the court “will not allow the defendant to rag, believing that he will pass without punishment because he has political and economic power.”

These restrictions were imposed due to allegations that he was encouraging Donald Trump to interfere in the case.

Trump and Polsonaro enjoyed a friendly relationship when their presidency overlapped, with the meeting of the couple at the White House in 2019.

In a post on social media last month, Trump expressed his support for the former president, saying that Bolsonaro “was not guilty of anything” and praised him as a strong leader “I really love his country.”
