Australian trade surplus collapsed in August 2025, narrowed to 1.83 billion Australians. This number, which represents the smallest surplus since June 2018, was dramatically absent from the market expectations of 6.2 billion degrees and decreased sharply from 6.61 billion Australian degrees in July.
