Fears about the culture of the workplace in the IT industry in India are increasing again, and this time focuses on the managers of the NRI who are dealing with teams from abroad. Indian offices employees say that while they do most of the businesses at the Earth level, they often feel marginalized or speak

These complaints are not new in the technology sector. Many workers have talked about how to make bias in tasks, favoritism in promotional offers, and pressure from external teams makes their work more difficult. But now, some professionals feel that the NRI managers case deserves more attention.

This frustration recently appeared in a discussion about the famous Subredit R/Indianworkplace. The user started a post describing how NRi managers often submit to him “The Park of Excellence”.

According to The Post, these managers look at people who do not have certificates from the best institutes such as IIT or IIM and treat workers from India as assistants. Redditor added that important projects or “cold” are usually delivered to a small circle of favorite, leaving the rest of the team.

The post gained the traction speed, with other users sharing similar experiences. One of the commentators wrote, “Yes, exactly, the developers of customer who supervises our project are NRIS, while everyone is making the product better for them this distinguished position, and sometimes they ask for the implementation of something, so that the developer knows that he will lead to problems, but he will continue to do so, otherwise they will take it on the ego and will not agree to PRS.”

Another user argued that the root of the problem lies in visa policies and employment structures abroad, “The only way to move forward is to remove the allocation of a completely temporary visa. This system is all of the toxicity of the hierarchical sequence will lead to the bottom. It starts from above.”

Comments reflect a wider concern in the information technology sector that employees abroad lack the ability to retract the decisions made by foreign managers, even when these decisions are harmful to the project.

When global teams are more connected, employees say it is important to address these cultural and structural issues to ensure fairly and more smooth cooperation.
