Pester’s lawyer, lawyer Movrika and Mila, said that the documentary violated his right to a fair trial.

“There is no evidence that he had escaped. He has not yet condemned,” he said to the court.

The lawyer also argued that the name of the documentary, “Beauty” and “Bester”, was famous and was deliberately designed to throw his client as a “monster”, according to reports of the local eastern coast radio on its website.

Netflix’s legal actor, lawyer Tembeka Ngcukaitobi, told the court that the three -part series gives the victims a long cut platform.

And she quoted that “this documentary gives the victims of Thabu to cover a platform to hear it after years of silence. To silence the film is to silence them again.”

Judge Saltflix asked when he was intending to release the documentary, and she would have made her a ruling shortly before that.

Bester’s alleged escape has occupied international newspapers and angered South Africa, which has one of the highest sexual assault rates in the world.
