Texas Boy, 12, faces charges after driving off deputies in stolen vehicle, sheriff’s office says

A 12-year-old boy has been charged after deputies were charged on a chase while driving a Stolen vehicle in Texasaccording to officials.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said deputies found the stolen Kia Rio in the 12200 block of Antoine Drive on Friday.

Deputies then began pursuing the suspect as he drove the vehicle, but the pursuit ended when the vehicle overturned.

The suspect was revealed to be a 12-year-old boy after the incident. His identity has not been released due to him being a child.

The boy was treated and released to his mother. The deputies said.
