The Vietnamese EV company, Vinfast, which first appeared at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, earlier this year, opened its reservations for excellent SUVs – VF 7 and VF 6 – via the Indian market. The timing of the pre -booking declaration is especially interesting, given that Tesla opens its first show in India on the same day.
Vinfast Auto India- The Indian subsidiary of the Vietnamese company-has doubled its strategy in India. Conventions have signed 13 merchant partners to establish 32 agents in 27 cities. Vinfast charging solution
Vietnamese has announced partnerships with RoadGrid, MyTVs and Global confirmation of the deployment of the country’s charging service and after -sales service. This will ensure access to actual time shipping, diagnostic diagnoses, and integrated digital platforms to support EV infrastructure for the company.
Vinfast has also made a partnership with Batx Energies, a clean Indian technology company specializing in batteries recycling, rare metal recovery, and reshaping the end -of -life battery. The company aims to create a circular battery value chain in India.
The group offers a wide range of electrical SUVs, cycling programs, and electronic accreditation.
Tesla’s entry
Meanwhile, after years of conversations and attempts, Tesla opens the first Indian showroom in Mumbai today-a 4000 square feet hall at the Bandra Corla complex. The second showroom in New Delhi is expected to open by the end of the month.
However, Tesla cars come at a huge price, thanks to the import duties, which were through the dispute between Elon Musk and the Indian government. Importing duties of 70 percent means that Tesla cars will be priced in a previous showroom between 50-75 rupees for Al Qaeda and Mediterranean Variables. This means that Tesla will not compete with local EV leaders such as Tata Motors or Mahindra but in the luxury slide with BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
In addition, Tesla imports the Y from the transitions of Chinese Gigafactory.
Looking at the evive EV market in India – albeit with an unprecedented scope – Tesla’s move is described as a strategy of more than a financial market.
