Senator Ted CrossR-TEXAS, on Saturday, MP ROY, R-TEXAS supported, after conservative Congress member announced his candidacy to become the next public prosecutor at Lone Star State.
Roy, who announced his career on Thursday, seeks to replace the current public prosecutor of the state, Ken PakstonWho decided not to run for his re-election in 2026 and instead he runs for the US Senate against Senator John Corn, R-Texas.
In his support for Wari, Cruz said that there are many excellent candidates who run to be the next public prosecutor in the state. Among the other Republican candidates are Sens Sens. Joan Huffman and Mays Middleton, as well as the former American Prosecutor of the Legal Policy Office, Aaron Ritz.
“There are many excellent candidates at the present time in the Attorney General in Texas. They are all friends of mine, and they were all strong supporters for me for many years. Texas is blessed with abundance of powerful conservatives who move forward to lead this, at a time of this,” Cruz said in a statement on Saturday.

Roy announced in a joint campaign video on X, saying that he is seeking to preserve the legacy of the state “freedom, freedom and self -determination.”
He wrote in a accompanying message: “Texas has a long tradition and a proud to rise to defend our homes, freedom and societies.” “I am nominated for the public lawyer to continue this legacy … they are not afraid of fighting, not afraid to win, and I am ashamed to defend Texas at every turn. #Livefree.”
Roy said that it was an honor to represent the twenty -first Congress area in the US House of Representatives, and that he was especially proud “our work to connect President Trump’s agenda and fight to deplete the swamp.”
