On Saturday, the “Anti-Hero” singer’s backup singer, Jeslyn Gorman, shared a set of two dozen photos on Instagram to wrap up her thoughts on 2024. Two of the photos included Taylor Swift, including one in which she appeared relaxing on a boat in a bathing suit.

Two photos shared by backup singer Jessalyn Gorman show Taylor Swift having the time of her life during a break from “The Eras Tour.” The fifth photo in Carousel shows the “Cruel Summer” singer lounging on a boat in the ocean while wearing a two-piece swimsuit, sunglasses and a hat. All the backup singers are gathered around her enjoying the sunshine.

The next photo comes a little later in the carousel and shows Swift and her backup dancers gathered together in what appears to be a doorway. That’s why the “All Too Well” singer is wearing what appears to be a black floral dress with black heeled shoes. Her other backup dancers also wear dresses and other formal attire as if the group is preparing to go out to dinner or simply enjoy a night on the town.

In the lyrics of “The 1” — her 2020 tune from her pandemic-era album “Folklore,” Swift sings: “We were something, don’t you think? We were something, don’t you think?” The rose flows with your chosen family.” Gorman mentions her “chosen family” while sharing “some things (I’ve learned) in 2024,” she detailed in the caption of her post.

“Joy is medicine. Grace is a beautiful gift that we don’t give ourselves enough of. Don’t sweat the small stuff, you have a life to enjoy. Generosity not only lifts up someone else, it also magically lifts you up.”

We are capable of achieving more than we imagine. “Strength and resilience are the result of discomfort and hard work,” she wrote, adding: “My chosen family is so amazing.”

After teasing about TikTok being “good for travel plans,” she also weighs in on another Swift lyric, saying she’s “loved beyond my wildest dreams.”

“Travelling is a spiritual experience, you learn a lot about yourself. Having a safe and vulnerable space to express yourself is a privilege. You can’t fix everything…and that’s okay.” She concluded by saying, “Every day is a new opportunity to be your best self, to choose grace.” “To choose joy, to choose love.” “For more love in 2025.”

This isn’t the first time she’s shown her love for Taylor Swift!

Three weeks ago, Gorman wrote a gushing birthday tribute to the “Love Story” singer along with a photo from The Eras Tour showing them laughing on stage. “To the girl whose heart shines in everything and everyone. You light a fire when you perform and leave behind a beautiful glowing ember in every city you touch, because of who you are,” she wrote in the caption.

A year ago, in December 2023, she shared a TikTok video montage of highlights from The Eras Tour in a post made to the singer’s hit song, “It’s Nice to Have a Friend.” In the caption, she once again praised the singer’s “heart and generosity.”

Jessalyn Gorman ‘blessed’ to be part of ‘Tour for the Ages’

Now that The Eras Tour is said and done, Gorman looked back fondly on her memories in a December 21 post. The video featured highlights from the record-breaking tour, all set to her song “New Year’s Day.”

After admitting that trying to explain what the tour meant to her was “paralyzing and confusing,” she admitted that she was “trying (her) best to find the words through the tears.”

“This experience was more than just a tour for me, more than just a show,” she wrote. “These people who I would call family, the love we feel on stage and off… We will be the only ‘we’ that will be on this beautiful, exhausting, record-breaking, exhilarating, tour of a lifetime.”

She later went on to call the tour a “blessing” and concluded her post by dropping another Taylor Swift song: “Living the magic that was #TheErasTour…holding on to the memories with all my might. I hope I never forget it.”
