“Another big accomplishment was our show on Hulu,” she continued. “It had one of the highest rated shows of the year. Like, this is going to be good, but the fact that it went to No. 1 on Hulu on day one, what the hell, what the hell is this? It was amazing.”

Taylor Frankie Paul said strangers thanked her for sharing her story

Thanks to the popularity of the show, Paul has had many people approach her to thank her for sharing her story and for “helping” them in so many different ways.

“And to have helped them in ways and to be open to sharing your story, that was the coolest part for me,” she said. “And I feel like the cool thing about people that you admire and watch, who were fans of yours and said they loved your show, so that was really cool.”

“I want to say this has been worse than 2022, which is saying a lot,” she said. “With that being said, I have a hard time understanding which is which. And I’m only saying that because besides that, I’ve had amazing opportunities come my way.”

She said she would not “go into detail about why this was one of the worst years,” because viewers will see it all “unravel here next year.”

“It’s been a year filled with a lot of unpacking all these things that had to happen for there to be actual change,” she continued. “And I’m not a person who blames others in my life. I’m self-aware to know what my role is and what I could have done differently. What lesson can I learn from this experience?”
