Taylor Frankie Paul reflects on the ‘highlights’ of her worst year

After sharing the negatives from 2024, Paul decided to reflect on some of the ‘highlights’.

“I’ve done all the negatives, so we’ll move on to the positives,” she said in it. Tik Tok video. “First comes my beautiful baby who came first. I know a lot of people are fine, I had your baby, it should have been the best year. She went on to talk about her son, saying he was a “blessing” in her life, before moving on to another “huge achievement” from 2024.

“Another big accomplishment was our show on Hulu,” she continued. “It had one of the highest rated shows of the year. Like, this is going to be good, but the fact that it went to No. 1 on Hulu on day one, what the hell, what the hell is this? It was amazing.”

Thanks to the popularity of the show, Paul has had many people approach her to thank her for sharing her story and for “helping” them in so many different ways.

“And to have helped them in ways and to be open to sharing your story, that was the coolest part for me,” she said. “And I feel like the cool thing about people that you admire and watch, who were fans of yours and said they loved your show, so that was really cool.”

It didn’t take long after the reality show was released on Hulu that it was picked up for a second season “for approximately 20 episodes.”

“So when I say our lives changed pretty much overnight, for travel purposes, your car would be there at that time, you would be picked up, your hotel would be booked, your driver would be there,” she continued. . “The different lifestyle I was living, what is it?”

She also spoke about applying to the CMA, which she described as a “dream come true.” Another highlight for Paul was meeting her therapist, who she said would be the one to “save her.”

A few days before her video highlighting some of the positives from the past year, Ball shared a video talking about the “worst” parts of her year.

“I want to say this has been worse than 2022, which is saying a lot,” she said. “With that being said, I have a hard time understanding which is which. And I’m only saying that because besides that, I’ve had amazing opportunities come my way.”

She said she would not “go into detail about why this was one of the worst years,” because viewers will see it all “unravel here next year.”

“It’s been a year filled with a lot of unpacking all these things that had to happen for there to be actual change,” she continued. “And I’m not a person who blames others in my life. I’m self-aware to know what my role is and what I could have done differently. What lesson can I learn from this experience?”

Ball continued her video post, saying that there are “good things” and “really tough things” throughout 2024.

“For example, earlier this year, I was very isolated. We see that in the show, and I’m not there. I can’t even watch the show because it’s so hard to watch,” she said. “Then I finally wanted to start feeling again, so you start feeling a lot of pain and letting things in.”

She said that 2022 “was an experience,” 2023 “wasted,” and in 2024, she “left the pain.” She said that she let the pain creep into her all at once, which left her “on the bathroom floor, screaming and crying on phone calls, and receiving intensive treatment.”

She continued, “I prayed to God saying you have to help me. Please remember that this is not about complaining about life problems. This is all about mental health.” “And it doesn’t matter what external things you have in life, because it will never make you happy if you are not happy on the inside.”
