In an interview during the NCAA Tournament, Murray expressed her desire for people to see her as more than just a player volleyball player.

““What I want people to understand is that people live lives outside of their sports,” Murray said. “And I feel like that’s something that I’ve been able to incorporate into my social media. That was one of my goals because I feel like when they see that, they can understand that I’m human too and that volleyball isn’t my whole life. It’s like there’s more to me than that.” (start 0:22)

Harper Murray recently signed a nothing deal with global brand Adidas. Her accomplishment was recognized by her college, where the Love Library of Nebraska displayed a photo of her wearing Adidas gear.
