An activist who was detained in Tanzania was launched for a period of three days after a short period of the Foreign Ministry student in Kenya.
A senior official in the ministry, Korir Sing’ei, said on X that Boniface MWANGI “is now returning to the country.”
Lawyer and activist, Khaled Hussein, told the BBC that they were together in the Kenya coast area.
The Kenyan activist in Dar Al -Salam was arrested on Monday, along with Uganda Atur by suspects and their place remained unknown.
They were in the country to attend the case of the opposition leader’s court, Tondo Leso, accused of treason.
The Tanzanian authorities did not comment on the detention and deportation of Mwanji.
But on Monday, President Samia Soloho Hassan warned that she would not allow activists from neighboring countries to “intervene” in her country’s affairs and cause “chaos”.
Earlier on Thursday, the Kenya Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying it was unable to reach the activist.
He said that despite the repeated requests, “consular access” or information was rejected, and expressed concern about his health.
Tanzania urged “urgently and without delaying” to allow or launch access to it, “in accordance with international legal obligations and diplomatic standards.”
Later, the state -funded rights committee in Kenya said it had obtained the activist in Kawal Province, after his release from Tanzania.
Knchr posted a picture of him alongside other people, including his wife, we are running, and his activist colleague Hussein, and said he was “in high spirits.” The committee said it was planning to transfer him to the capital, Nairobi, for medical attention.
According to what was reported, the activist left on the Kenyan border on Thursday morning after his release from the Tanzanian authorities.

On Wednesday, his BBC wife told that she had heard from him the last time on Monday and could not prove his place.
“I am already interested in his life. I know my husband, he would continue, and will find a way to contact me or send text messages to me and because he did not do it, it makes me very worried about the situation in which he is.”
On Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kenya expressed similar concerns about “the health of the activist, the general well -being and the absence of information related to his detention.”
She said that diplomats should obtain their citizens detained by a host country according to the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.
“In light of the above, the (ministry) urges the respect of the government of the United Republic of Tanzania urgently and without delaying the facilitation of consular access to Mr. Mwanji or his release,” she said.
Its statement came amid increasing anger, especially after the deportation of Tanzania to former Kenyan Minister of Justice Martha Karwa and other activists, who also went to attend the Lesu session, during the weekend.
In recent months, rights groups have been concerned about the campaign shown on Tanzania’s opposition before the elections in October.
