Tami Bouont believes that India will be another step for England when they go face to face in the T20i series, starting from June 28 directly on Sky Sports.
World No 2 Side England welcomes India in the third place for the five T20is, followed by three Odis in what will be a good test of Charlotte Edwards with the World Cup on the horizon.
England enters the series against the background of the dominant T20i series against West Indies, where she got the reign of the new coach to the ideal beginning.
For Beaumont, India is a greater challenge to discover exactly what it is in England because it intensifies preparations and hopes itself to continue the good form it presented against the West Indies because it looks forward to improving its record against India.
“I think that whenever India is played, this is a good sign as you are as a team,” Pomont said.
“It is clear that we have the big winter in the World Cup in India, so they will definitely be a strict test of the West Indies.
“I think having a series of five T20s and three Odis is really great time to test ourselves.
“They got an experienced young team that you may not have seen before, but we know with WIPL that there is a talent that comes through thick and fast so it will be a difficult series.
“India is a team that I would like to get a better record against this is what I will target this series.”
The last time England welcomed India in 2022, there was a great doll of controversy when India rejected Buller Debti Sharma Charlie Dean with “Mankad”.
Dean was running out at the end of the non-attackers, as England tried to close it on an unlikely victory, after it was 115-9 but with a comfortable religion in the 47th race, before Sharma was transferred to the guarantee after entering the delivery step.
The chapter “Mankad” was supported by the third referee and concluded a 16 and 3-0 win from the 3-0 series for India, where the debt of its bats threw on the ground in crying while the seconds of the crowd were drove on the way of victory.
After that, the reaction mocked, Sharma told the correspondents that she gave a debt a warning before the Heather Knight captain went to social media to refute the claims.
While the accident brought the drama injection, Boumont insists that there will be no bad blood, but England will make sure that its strike is behind the line.
“He went, he is in the past,” Bouont added.
“Charlie and Dibti played the same team in London Spirit. This happens.
“It is in the laws. Unless the laws change and become a little more clear about what matters and what does not happen, it will continue to happen.
“We have to continue with that, unfortunately. I’m sure outside that there will be a lot of return, especially the game in Lord’s.
“We will make sure that our strike behind the line when taking off and playing with a good and competitive spirit against India as we always do.”
