Since the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack in Israel and Israel’s subsequent outbreak of war in Gaza, many Jews in the Paris area have been surveyed out of concern. Between fears of anti-Semitic attacks, living amid growing tensions within the community and plans to immigrate to Israel, members of the Jewish community describe how their daily lives are characterized by a climate of insecurity and mistrust.
