This summer, T-Mobile launched T-Satellite serviceIt allows you to send text messages and contact emergency services outside cellular coverage areas. The company promised that other applications are able to work with data on the Starlink network that begins in October.

The fall came early. It is only the month of September, and many applications on iOS and Android already support T-Satellite data.

With the release of iOS 26Apple joins Google in providing compatibility with a set of applications – such as appointment, fitness, weather and websites – that benefit from communication in remote areas.

Satellite connections are very limited compared to the phone connection to a cellular network or a model Wi-Fi network. Applications should be modified specifically to work with a small stream of data, which is why the service was available for the first time only for the application of integrated messages and site sharing.

T-Mobile said its engineering relationships with Google and Apple have enabled the support of the initial application, starting with Pixel 10 phones.

Here is the current list of compatible applications:

Apple applications compatible with T-Satellite:

  • Apple compass
  • Apple is fit
  • Apple maps
  • Apple messages
  • Apple Music
  • Apple weather

Android applications compatible with T-Satellite:

  • Accuweather
  • Alltrails
  • Caltopo
  • Google Find Hub
  • Google Maps
  • Google messages (with Gemini)
  • Google Personal Safety
  • Onx BackCountry
  • Onx Hunt
  • Onx OffRAD
  • T-Life

  • x

T-Mobile maintains this list on Support T-Satellite The page will undoubtedly continue to add applications supported to it.

According to Gavin Gee, T-Mobile Product Marketing Manager, applications will work with T-Satellite regardless of the T-Mobile satellite service you use. If you have an experience beyond the plan, it is included. You can also add T-Satellite as a paid addition to a different T-Mobile plan and access to applications. And if you subscribe to the competitor’s plan, but you have prepared T-Satellite as an independent service on ESIM high school, you will also be able to take advantage of the applications.

When Google Pixel 10 launched the application support more than a month before the planned launch, GEE said that Google was the first of the gate with the Pixel 10. He said, “Frankly, this feature is very important for us to return it.”
