Will there be new characters?
The Duffer brothers explained that there are likely that there are no beginners in the Hawkins for the last season.
“We are doing our best to resistance (adding new personalities) to season 5,” he said Indiewire In August 2022. “We are trying not to do this so that we can focus on OG characters, I think.”
“Whenever we present a new character, we want to make sure they will be an integral part of the narration. We have a large group of characters here, actors, and any moment we spend with a new character, we take time away from one of the other actors.”
Despite the concern about expanding the scope of being too much, the Duffer brothers threw Linda Hamilton in a secret role. She disturbed her involvement while talking to us in February 2024.
“When you buy something, you don’t see yourself in it. So I think somehow, this destroys the offer for me.” “I do not see (project), as soon as I am in something. It will completely get me out of the fact that I see myself there. So I will not see (Season 5).”
In July 2024, Neil Fischer, Alex Brio and Jake Connect also joined the last season of the show.
