Strabag ends the deal to acquire WassERtechnik

The European Technology Group has ended the transactions documents and signed a purchase agreement to obtain WTE WTE WTSERECHNIK.

WTE WASERTECHNIK is an environmental services provider that participates in planning, financing, building, operating projects related to water supply, disposal of wastewater, processing sustainable sewage and energy restoration.

This step follows the December 2024 Convention between Strabag and EVN to get WTE.

The acquisition of the expansion of the capabilities of water technology in Strabag has been assigned and corresponds to its 2030 strategy goals.

The total purchase price for the WTE race is 100 million euros (114.9 million dollars), while assuming additional contributing loans.

The acquisition process will enhance the Strabag portfolio in integrated water management, as it is expected that joint works will generate an annual output of 400 million euros.

The Strabag SE supervisory council approved the acquisition, which is currently waiting for many organizational permits, including the approval of the anti -monopoly. The transaction is expected to be closed during the next six months.

Strabag is involved in planning, design, construction, operation, facility management, and demolition.

With 86,000 employees and network of subsidiaries throughout Europe and other continents, the company has already made remarkable progress in water technology this year.

In a relevant development, Strabag AG is based on Cologne acquired Sandkamp Tiefbau, German pipeline creation company. This acquisition includes the inclusion of all 25 Sandkamp Tientau employees into the Strabag team in Nordhorn and Gronau.
