Starmer rejects the Bangladesh leader’s interview to follow the lost billions

Sir Kerr Starmer rejected a request to meet Bangladesh’s leader during a visit to London with the aim of raising support for the efforts to recover billions of dollars removed by the Sheikh Al -Hasina regime.

The temporary leader Mohamed Yunus told the Financial Times that the United Kingdom must feel “morally” forced to help the new government in Bangladesh to track “stolen” funds by the previous regime, and many of them are now claiming in the United Kingdom.
