Starlink, internet service, Starlink, directly benefit from the Trade Administration War, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’s notes obtained by Washington Post.
Notes show countries that drive the United States to adopt Starlink. Some explain that countries believe that doing so can help soften American trade and tariff negotiations. The “Post Post” newspaper reported that one of the notes about the small African country of Lesoto imposed by the United States is a 50 % tariff against it about a new deal with Starlink.
Elon Musk is the founder and CEO of Spacex and one of the closest Trump administration advisers. A White House spokesman told the Post that there is no conflict of interests. The Foreign Ministry has described the work of paying deals to an American Satial Company as “national” in light of the competition from China. Spacex did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
