A French doctor goes to trial next week on charges of poisoning 30 children and adults, 12 of them, in an alleged attempt to show his recovery skills and his workshops.

Frederick Bishir, 53, worked as a anesthesiologist at two clinics in the Eastern City in Pesikon, when patients went to a heart attack in suspicious conditions between 2008 to 2017.

4 -year -old Teddy, from 4 -year -old, survived two heart attacks during a routine almond surgery in 2016.

The trial, which begins in Besancon on September 8 and will continue until December, is investigating a seven -year -old achievement that amazed the medical community.

The procedures come after a court in May was sentenced to the retired doctor Joel Le Skark For 20 years in prison after he confessed to abuse or rape of 298 patients, most of them children, between 1989 and 2014.

Pechier, a three -year -old father who was banned from medicine, faces life imprisonment if convicted. He denied the charges.

Distilately, Pechier is not currently behind bars and is subject to judicial supervision, and it is an alternative to detention before trial.

“I was waiting for this for 17 years,” said Amandine Ehlin, whose 53 -year -old father died with a heart attack during kidney surgery in 2008.

An autopsy detected an overdose of Yedocaine, a local anesthetic.

Prosecutor Etienne Mano said the case is “unprecedented in French legal history.”

Manteaux previously said Pechier was the “common denominator” in every fatal accident, BBC mentioned.

“Most of the time, it was found near the theater of operations” when the cases occurred, Manu said, and he quickly diagnosed the procedure that must be taken, “even when no one is allowed to be suspended with an overdose of potassium or local anesthesia.”

He described the doctor as a “star anesthesiologist”

An investigation was launched in 2017 after suspicious heart arrests during operations on patients who are considered low risks.

Pechier is suspected of wandering in paracetamol bags or anesthesia bags for his colleagues in order to create emergency situations in the operating room where he can intervene to show his supposed talents.

“What he accused is the poisoning of healthy patients to harm colleagues who were in a conflict,” Manu said.

“Frederick Bishir was the first respondent when a heart attack occurred,” he added. “He always had a solution.”

Pechier argued that the majority of poisoning was the result of the “medical errors” committed by his colleagues.

“I am accused of harsh crimes that I have not committed,” he said in 2017.

“BBC News I mentioned. “You can’t trust a doctor, at some point, he was classified on poisoning … … my family is broken and I am afraid of my children.”

Some colleagues described the doctor as a “star anesthetist”, while others said he happened to be arrogant and manipulative.

A co -worker claimed that Pechier “is sure he was the best” and I liked to “think of himself as Zorro”.

Over the seven general investigation, the researchers examined more than 70 reports of “serious negative events”, the medical terms of incompatible complications or deaths between patients.

Cases of 30 patients who suffered from a heart attack during surgery at St. Vincent and Franch Comet Policinic made this for experience.

The investigation was launched in January 2017, after a 36 -year -old woman suffered from suspicious heart attack during the operation.

Soon the pechier, who was arrested and charged, fell after two months.

“He has every intention to prove his innocence in this case,” the defense team told AFP.

Last month, I mentioned the world A Pecier’s lawyer withdrew from the case, pointing to insufficient compensation.

“Amazing case”

The criminal psychology evaluation of the accused, which was implemented in 2019 and criticized by the defense lawyer, referred to a “dominant figure” and “harmful features”.

Other psychological and psychological assessments have not identified any specific diseases or personality disorder, describing Pechier as a smart man.

It is also believed to be depressed.

In 2014, he tried to commit suicide, and in 2021, he fell from the window in his parents ’home.

More than 150 civilian parties, including the currency union for anesthesia specialists, will be represented in the trial.

“It is an amazing case” because of “the measure, the duration and the technical complexity.”

Berna said that he suspects that the court would hear any “sincere and honest clarifications from Bishier.”

Bernna said: “He is really a person who does not take any answer and is constantly trying to impose his opinion by force,” said Berna.

Before the trial, Pechier said it was “not particularly concerned.”

“I must fight one time to end this,” he told broadcaster BFMTV.

“I am not tired. I am not angry. I just want people to listen once,” he said.
