The wife of former South Korea President Yun Suk and his former Prime Minister was charged on Friday as part of his administration and his attempt to overcome the opposition by declaring martial law.
Yun began the most dangerous political crisis in South Korea for decades when he tried to overcome the opposition -dominated legislative body, which prevented his agenda suddenly declaring customary law.
His decree lasted only for hours, but it raised months of disturbances that were paralyzed policy, disrupted foreign policy and shake the economy.
Yun was isolated, then he was removed from his post in April and was re -arrested last month after his conservative party lost special elections to choose behind him.
The new government has appointed three private prosecutors to investigate each of the period of martial law and corruption doubts that took over Yun during his term in his post.
Yun’s wife, former minister of bullets is another to be charged
A team led by Public Prosecutor Min Jong Ki said that he accused Yoon’s wife, Kim Keun, of violating the financial market, political financing laws and receiving bribes, about two weeks after her arrest.
A separate team led by the Prosecutor Chu on Sok said that former Prime Minister Han Dako was charged with inciting UNEN’s assumption in martial law, which investigators say investigators were a rebellion, as well as forging and destroying official documents, and lying under the oath.
Dozens of people were arrested or investigated by the Yun Martial Law, corruption allegations that included his wife, and other differences three years ago in his post, including the alleged cover -up of the Marathien navy during the flood rescue operation in 2023.
Among the main suspects is Kim Yong Hyun, who was accused of planning martial law with Yoon and sending forces to the National Assembly in an unsuccessful attempt to prevent legislators from voting to lift them. More than 60 people were charged separately for riots in the Seoul Court, which issued the arrest order in January.
Park Ji Young Prosecutor’s assistant told a televised briefing that Han was the highest official who could have prohibited Yun’s attempt to impose martial law.
Park said that Han is still playing a “active” role in declaring the fighting law in Yoon by trying to obtain a Yun decree through a meeting of the Council of Ministers as a way to give “procedural legitimacy” to it.
Han has maintained that he was transferred to Yoon that he opposes the martial law plan. Zhou team earlier asked the Central Court of Seoul to issue an order to arrest Han. But on Wednesday, the court rejected this request, saying that he decided that there were little opportunities to flee Han or destroy evidence.

While Yun’s fall, which was extended by a long series of South Korean presidency that ends badly, Kim is the first previous first lady to be arrested and accused.
Almost every South Korean president, or their family members and aides, were drowned in scandals close to the end of their conditions or after leaving his position. The last two presidents elected from the previous repetitions of the Yun-Park John Hayy and Leung Back-have been sentenced to both prolonged prison periods on charges of corruption before pardoning and release.
Members of the South Korean People’s Forces Party, Won Wow Wow Won Chic, surrounded after Parliament issued a request to dismiss Prime Minister Han Daco, the country’s Acting President.
Yoon’s amazing but planned imposition came badly in an intense confrontation with the liberals, but many critics have speculated that Yun’s move was likely to be trying to frustrate at the time a batch led by opposition to open an independent investigation into his wife’s allegations.
Kim Wayon is suspected of having an unjustified impact on the Conservative Power Party to nominate a favorite candidate in the 2022 legislative elections, claiming that the MYUNG Tae-Kyun electoral mediator request. Myung is accused of conducting the free opinion polls of Yoon, which used the processed data, and may help him win the party’s preliminary elections before his election as president in March 2022.

In a statement issued through her lawyers on Friday, Kim did not make specific comments about her accusations, but she said that the media was reporting doubts as if it were “a confirmed fact” and that she plans to “quietly attend trials.”
Han, who was appointed Prime Minister, No. 2 in the country, by Yoon, was a leader of South Korea after Yun was isolated in mid -December.
After Yoon was officially rejected as president in the decision of the Constitutional Court, Han was supposed to continue the presidency of the interim government until the presidential elections in June, but he resigned from running for the elections. He withdrew from the race after his failure to win the nomination of the Power Party.
