South African arches for job loss when the American tariff begins

South Africa is afraid of job losses, especially in farmers and auto industries, due to a 30 % tariff for the United States on its imports after it failed to secure a trade deal before President Trump’s deadline. In response, South African President Cyril Ramavusa made a phone call to US President Donald Trump to discuss bilateral trade, through their negotiating teams to hold more detailed talks, according to the Ramavusa office on Thursday.
