Solheim Cup 2026: Anna Nordkestvist Caroline Hydwal and Mile Reed as the European Team Vice Golf news

Captain Europe has appointed Anna Nordquist Caroline Hydwal and Mile Reid as the Solheim Cup next year in the Netherlands.

Hedwall represented Europe as a player on five occasions, winning or keeping the cup on every occasion except for one occasion.

“I felt overwhelmed when Anna invited me to be one of the deputies of the captains in 2026 because the Solheim Cup has definitely provided many of the most important moments of my career,” Hydwall said.

“Anna and Anna have participated in us, either in a tour or in European teams together, so that I feel very compatible with our thinking about how to help ensure the European team’s ability to perform at its best.

“I think, with a tendency, we really understand each other and we are all competitors very viewers so I am sure that we will work very well for the interest of our team.”

Stanford participated six times for the Team Usa team and was part of three winning teams, as she witnessed her last appearance contributing to the return to European soil in 2015.
