Prime Video has canceled The Wheel of Time after three seasonsIt appears that some fans are still upset with the decision. Based on Robert Jordan’s best-selling literary fantasy epic of the same name, the series follows Moiraine (Rosalind Pike), a witch who leads a group of young men on their quest to defeat the Dark One. It’s a great series that boasts all the action and adventure that any epic fantasy show should have, so it’s understandable why a lot of people are upset that it doesn’t exist anymore.

While discussing the matter on X (formerly known as Twitter), many fans criticized Prime Video’s short-sighted decision to stop running “The Wheel of Time.” What’s more, some viewers, including someone with his name @Mrbeh237I’m still emotional thinking about there not being more future episodes. In the words of a social media user:

“I feel like I burst into tears anytime I think about this.”

elsewhere, Another X user claimed That the “Wheel of Time” ended when it began to take its steps, which makes the decision to cancel it even more unbearable. “So annoying! Season 3 was the best season ever, and kept getting better, and they canceled it,” they wrote, echoing the sentiments of many other fans.

These points are quite valid, especially when one remembers that Amazon is spending a lot on another big-budget fantasy series — one that is arguably not as good as “The Wheel of Time.” With that in mind, let’s mourn the end of a great show and make Prime Video a reason to revive it.

The Wheel of Time would have been better than the Rings of Power

“The Wheel of Time” has the potential to be a story A sweeping epic like The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power from Prime Video. But at a fraction of the cost. For comparison’s sake, the first season of Robert Jordan’s series cost around $80 million, while The Rings of Power grossed a whopping $465 million. There’s no reason why both series couldn’t coexist side by side, but “The Wheel of Time” also offers more value in terms of long-term storytelling.

The Rings of Power has been criticized by some for lacking substance and taking too many creative liberties with the source material written by J. R. R. Tolkien, as the time period of the story was not covered in great detail in his written works. “The Wheel of Time” certainly takes some creative liberties of its own, but with 14 novels to turn to for inspiration, there are enough stories I can draw from — enough to fill a multi-season fantasy saga without running out of steam. The original plan was to “The Wheel of Time” runs for eight seasonsWhich would have done justice to Jordan’s story.

Jordan’s novels are considered classics, and The Wheel of Time could have become one of them Best fantasy series ever If he had a greater chance of success. The fact that fans are still unhappy with its cancellation also proves that this is not an exaggerated opinion – but it is not too late for Prime Video to reverse the decision to cancel the show.

“The Wheel of Time” is currently streaming on Prime Video.
