Salman Rushdie has received death threats for more than 35 years. The British American novelist, born in his book, angered his book “The Displacement Verses” in 1988. Many Muslims announced, to the extent that the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khomeini, issued a homosexual against him, and called for his death. In August 2022, the Booker Prize -winning author was stabbed on stage in New York State, leaving him blind in one eye. An attacker is now in a trial to try to kill. The book “The knife” is Rushdie’s novel of what happened.
