Skeleton Crew ratings portend bad news for a potential second season

While talking to Tech RadarJon Watts revealed that their goal was to produce more episodes, but they went into the first part intent on telling a conclusive story:

“Yes, we wanted to make sure the beginning, middle and end of this season was satisfying. But if people want to see more of the Skeleton Crew, we’ll be happy to deliver more.”

In the same interview, Christopher Ford noted that he and Watts have some ideas in mind for a second season, and are not ruling out the possibility of bringing those visions to life. However, the power is in Disney’s hands for now, and history has shown that the House of Mouse is more than happy to cut projects that don’t live up to viewers’ expectations.
