He stated that at least 16 people died after hurricanes tore parts of two American states.
Kentucky officials said that there were nine deaths while seven people were killed in Missouri, including five in St. Louis.
Kentucky Tornado in Laurel Province, in the southeast of the state, struck in the early hours of Saturday. The officials said they expect the death toll to rise.
Missouri officials said that 5,000 buildings were damaged, the roofs were destroyed and the power generation lines declined when it was a hurricane stuck on Friday.
About 100,000 drugs were left in Saint Louis without authority, and the Fire Department said that the search for home had been conducted in the most affected areas.
The National Weather Service Radar suggested that Tornado landed shortly after 14:30 local time in the west of the city near the Forest Park – the home of Saint Louis Zoo and the 1904 Olympic Games site.
St. Lewis extinguishing department said three people should be saved after a part of the nearby Christian Christian Church collapsed. One of these people died.
The curfew was imposed from 21:00 to 06:00 local time in the two regions where most of the damage occurred, to prevent injuries caused by debris and reduce the possibilities of looting.
“Loss of lives and destruction is really terrible,” said the mayor of Saint Luis Kara Spencer.
“We will have a lot of work that must be done in the coming days. There is no doubt about its existence, but tonight we focus on saving lives, maintaining the safety of people and allowing our society sad.”
The US National Weather Service said that hurricanes hit the neighboring Illinois, as harsh weather conditions extend to the East to the Atlantic Coast.
