Shearer claims that Izak Saga “is a bad look” after Liverpool’s move

Former Newcastle striker Alain Shearer expressed his rejection of Alexander Isak’s actions to secure his transfer to Liverpool, describing them as “a really bad look at football.”

Issak actually refused to play with Newcastle at the beginning of the Premier League season, while he was seen as a step to be imposed through his British record of 125 million pounds to Mercyside on Monday.

“I didn’t like how it came to the end. I don’t think it is right for the player to hit and refuse to play for the club during your salaries and you have a contract,” Shearer said.

“I understand this from the opposite, when the club wants to get rid of you, but they are still paying your wages. When you sign a contract, you are obligated to fulfill it.”

“Alexander Isac is a good player, as he goes to a great soccer club. There is no doubt about challenging all the big awards. But, as I said, I do not like how it happened. He will have his reasons, I’m sure.

“We can thank him for what he did in Newcastle, but it was a chaotic situation throughout the summer.

“I don’t think it has achieved anyone well. It was a really bad football and fans because they are the paid fans, those that make this wonderful game to us.

“It is not a good look at all when your salaries are paid by a club and refuse to play.

“In the end, he moved to Liverpool, that’s what he wanted.”
