Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber, has set Rapido-not Ola-as the most difficult company in the company in India, indicating a great smuggling in the hierarchy of the country’s riding.
Speaking to people by WTF PodCast hosted by Zerodha Corporation Nichil Kamath, Khosrowshahi said, “Ola is used to be our main competition. Now, the most stringent competition in India is Rapido.”
RAPIDO has rapidly grew on the market across the vehicle categories. In the four wheels sector, it now holds a 20 % market share-which indicates the gap by 30 % of OLA, while Uber leads by about 50 %. The sources say that Rabdo continues to obtain a ground on both competitors.
The value of the total demand for the start of operation in Hyderabad increased to $ 1.25 billion in the fiscal year 25, up from $ 500 million in the previous year. Growth was fed through the expansion of aggressive service, but it also came with high cash losses and installation.
When asked about the advice he gave to young entrepreneurs in moving or delivering, khosrowshahi joked, “Do not build anything like Uber because we will kick your ass.” Kamat mocked, “You can buy us later.”
Rapido recently resumed bicycles in Bangaluru after the Karnataka Supreme Court wondered about the legitimacy of the state government ban. Earlier this month, she also entered into food delivery with a new service called Owns Owne, now lives in the selected Bangaluru areas, aimed at undermining Swiggy and Zomato with low prices and flat delivery fees.
With Rapido pushing both to move and serve food, he became a huge player in the crowded technological scene in India.
