Sen Adam Chef, California, under the criminal investigation of defrauding the alleged mortgage

A Trump administration source told Fox News that Senator Adam Chef, California, is subject to criminal investigation into a mortgage fraud.

Fox News, Laura Ingharaham, broke the news on Tuesday night “Ali”Ingraham angleSaying that the source said that the criminal investigation is conducted by the US Prosecutor’s Office in Maryland on possible charges that involve the mortgage fraud.

This investigation comes a month after the outbreak of a story about the Federal Housing Agency (FHFA) that sends a criminal referral to the Ministry of Justice (Doj) claiming that Chef, in multiple cases, was forged, bank documents and property records were formed to obtain more appropriate loan conditions.

In the 2011 written certificate signed by a member of the Congress in California at the time, Chef admitted that a property in Montgomery, Maryland is his basic residence.

Chef also owns buildings in Borbank, California, and he also claimed as his primary residence in 2023, during his campaign for the Senate.

Chef’s office did not immediately respond to the Fox News Digital request to comment on the matter.
