Market organizer Sebi Pranav Adani, the main director of the Adani Group, accused the violation of internal trading regulations by sharing unpublished price -sensitive information before the main acquisition, according to a Reuters report.

According to a Reuters report, Sibi sent a notification to Branaf Adani last year, claiming that he revealed details of Adany Green Energy on SB Energy Holdings to his son -in -law, Konal Shah before it became public.

The SEBI report claimed that Adani “connecting sensitive information to the unpublished prices related to the power acquisition of SB in violation of the trading rules from the inside. The Reuters report added that the document also claimed that Konal Shah and his brother Nubal Shah traded Adani Green shares based on this information, and obtained “unlimited gains” at $ 9 million ($ 108,000).

In a response to Reuters, Branaf Adwani, the son of Gotam Adwani, confirmed that he “did not violate the securities law” and continues a settlement “to put an end to this issue, without acceptance or denial of allegations.”

The relevant acquisition, which was completed in October 2021, witnessed the purchase of Adani Green Energy Ltd SB Energy India – a joint venture between the Softbank Group in Japan and the BHARTI institutions – a value of $ 3.5 billion. The acquired wallet included 5 GB of renewable assets in four Indian states, including 1700 megawatts of operational capacity, 2554 megawatts under construction, and 700 megawatts about to build.

With 84 % of the solar capacity (4,180 megawatts), 9 % hybrid from the transparent wind (450 MW), and 7 % winds (324 MW), the portfolio was among the highest renewable asset collections in India. Adani Green described the assets as developed and maintained according to better criteria in their class.

After the deal, the operational capacity of Adani Green Energy rose to 5.4 GB, with a closed total portfolio of 19.8 GB, which represents four times the expansion.
