Samsung has teased an ultra-thin phone called the Galaxy S25 Edge

Samsung makes a thin version of Galaxy S25. The Galaxy S25 Edge was teased at the end of the company’s conference Unpacked eventIt appears to be noticeably thinner than other phones launched by Samsung today.

There’s not much that can go wrong with Samsung’s tease. The voiceover describes the phone as “the culmination of our most innovative technologies” and adds to the device’s apparent sleekness. Flick through Samsung’s live stream and you’ll see components like the vapor chamber, cameras, and metal frames, but only a clear glimpse of the Galaxy S25 Edge’s actual silhouette. At Samsung’s live event in Korea, the new phone was already on display. You can take a look at it in the embed below.

Samsung did not share any other details about when the Galaxy S25 Edge will appear at its event, however Bloomberg Reports The phone will be launched “in the United States and other markets by mid-year.” The device will also use some of the same technologies as the new Ultra model, in a slimmer package. And it won’t be the only company trying to woo customers with thinness in 2025. Apple is said to be offering, too iPhone 17 “Air” Later this year.
