Salesforce has reduced 4000 jobs to support and replace customers artificial intelligence (AI) Agents, CEO Mark Benf said recently.
Benioff made comments while discussing how new technology affects “Logan Bartlet” offer Podcast that was published on Friday.
“I managed to balance the number of employees on my support,” Benioff said. “I have reduced it from 9000 heads to about 5000, because I need less than the heads.”
Artificial intelligence was a blessing for Salesforce, as the company provides Agentforce and other tools that work on behalf of its customers, and to other companies.

“If we were doing this conversation a year ago and you are calling Salsforce, there will be 9000 people who will interact with them globally on our service cloud, and they will run, create, read, update, delete data,” adding that these same reactions are still happening today, but “50 % are agents, 50 % of whispers.”

Salesforce Fox Business Digital presented the following statement when asked about Benioff’s statements:
