Luke Donald believes that the naming of most Ryder CUP team, winner of the Ryder team in Europe, can help them treat a “different animal”.

Donald chose six from his 2023 team, while his team captain was for the European team, which means that 11 of the 12 players in this year’s squad were part of their 16.5-11.5 victory over the United States of America in Rome.

Donald said: “It is (Ryder Cup) is a different animal and is a different challenge,” Donald said. “It is clear that there is an opportunity to do this again does not mean that we will do the same things that we did in Rome.

“It is about implementing new technologies. I really tried to look at exactly what this requires.

“I fully realize that we have lost three of the last four Ryder cups with important margins and it is a difficult challenge. It is a difficult environment, but I have tried everything I can to give our team the best chance.”

Donald insists that conjugation and tactics may seem different from those used during its victory 16.5-11.5 in Italy two years ago, although his twin brother Nikolai Hoggard is replaced as the only change in his list.

Donald added: “I am very surprisingly proud of these men and the extent of their playing well,” Donald added. “It is clear that a lot of continuity is from Rome. It is unusual for many people to return, but it shows the quality of these players.

“Just because we have a very similar team, it does not mean that we will put the same conjugation or the same squad in the calamities and balls. I think for two years, these players change. Their personal files change, and we will adapt however.

“This is definitely not a matter of rinsing and repetition from Rome. Strategies and thinking processes and I try to come in this matter completely different from what we did in Rome.

“It is good to have a continuity within the team, memories, and the experiences that we celebrate together. When it comes to the Rider Cup, this does not necessarily mean that we will get the same partnerships.”

It will be the best 11 in the arrangement of Rider Cup qualifications part of the European side for this year, with Matt Wallace – ended the twelfth campaign – the best classification player to lose.

Wallace collapsed in crying when discussing his hopes of the Rider Cup on Sunday, after the end of the runner -up in European omega, with Donald talking to the English shortly after.

Donald said: “These past few weeks are not the most fun and somewhat stressful for the captain, but (I) is enthusiastic about the location of our existence, and preparations have already occurred and will continue to happen in Bethpage.”

“They (calls with the players who have not been chosen) are very difficult for various reasons. I called him 10 or 15 minutes of that emotional interview he had in Crans and felt very emotion to him.

“This shows me what Ryder’s Cup means for these men and how they are trying to make the team desperate and be part of it. It has not been hidden.

“I think this call was difficult but frankly, it is all very difficult. I think these men really want to be in this team.”
