Fighting:

  • Russian drone attacks killed a 53 -year -old Ukrainian man in the Sumi region of Ukraine and left parts of the city of Sumi without power, Kiev Independent, citing local authorities.
  • The SBU intelligence service in Ukraine said it had killed many Russian secret service agents during their arrest in the Kiev region on Sunday. SBU said she believed that the agents were behind the killing of Colonel Ivan Foreonish, in Kyiv on Thursday.
  • The Russian Ministry of Defense said that its forces had seized the villages of Miklayevka and Mirn in the eastern Donetsk region of Ukraine.
  • The United Nations Nuclear Control Authority has reported that hundreds of small weapons fire rounds were heard late Saturday at the nuclear power plant in Ukraine, which is occupied by Russian forces. The agency described the shots as unusual and said it is seeking more information about the accident.

  • The Great Republican Senator Lindsi Graham, a major ally of Trump, told the CBS News that he is expected to start the flow of US arms shipments to Ukraine soon. “The game … is about to change,” he said. “I expect, in the coming days, you will see weapons flowing at a record level to help Ukraine to defend itself.”

  • Ukrainian President Folodimir Zelinski said his government is preparing to receive Trump’s private envoy, Keith Keel, in Kiev on Monday and said: “We are counting on the United States completely understanding what can be done to force Russia for peace.”
