Fighting
- The Ukraine Army got an attack on the Borissogkk air base in the Foreonz region of Russia, where it struck a warehouse containing slide bombs and training aircraft. Russian officials did not immediately comment on the attack.
- The mayor of Moscow Serge Sobianin said that the Russian air defenses shot down four Ukrainian drones heading to the Russian capital, forcing one of the main Moscow airports to temporarily stop the flights.
- This came, as the Russian Ministry of Defense said that its air defenses had intercepted 48 Ukrainian drones in a period of more than five hours of Saturday evening and 45 during the day. Earlier, the ministry said that 94 drones had destroyed Russia overnight.
- In Ukraine, the Air Force said that Russia had launched 322 drones and overwhelmed the country overnight until Saturday. Among them, 157 were dropped and 135 were lost, probably after they were disturbed electronically.

- After talking to Ukrainian President Folodimir Zelinski on Friday, US President Donald Trump said that Ukraine would need Patriot missiles to defend it. Trump also expressed his frustration with the failure of Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the fighting.
- Trump told reporters that he was “very happy” about his previous invitation with Putin. “It seems that he wants to go throughout the way and continue to kill people … this is not good. I was not happy with him,” he said.
- In a post on X, Zelenskyy described his call with Trump as “very fruitful”, confirming that the husband “discussed the air defense”.
- “I am grateful for help,” Zelinski said. “Patriot systems are the key to defending ballistic threats.”
- United Nations Secretary -General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned the “unmanned aircraft attacks and Russia’s missiles” on Ukraine on Friday, describing the attacks as “the largest in more than three years of war.”
- Gottis also expressed his warning of “the dangerous escalation and the increasing number of civilian victims” as well as concern about the disruption of power in the “Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which once again confirming the continuous risks of nuclear safety.”
- Adam Smith, a senior democratic legislator, refused to demand the Pentagon that he had raised arms shipments to Ukraine on low stocks.
