Indian national cricket team captain Rohit Sharma came up with an eye-catching response after he was asked about BCCI not allowing wives to travel on tours. He asked the reporters about the source, saying, “Let the confirmation come officially.”
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly issued some guidelines to bring discipline to the team. According to various reports, one of the points was that wives and families were not allowed to go on foreign tours.
Reports stated that the team will travel together and there will be no separate travel for the players. Spouses and families will not travel from the beginning and will only be allowed to travel for two weeks during the 45-day tour.
Rohit Sharma was asked about this in the press conference and he replied; He asked the reporters whether they had obtained the information from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry officially. He also asked the media to wait for the official rules to appear in a funny way. He said:
“Who told you the rules? Did they come from the official handle of BCCI? Let them come officially.”
