BCCI to choose Firat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the Odi band on October 4

The Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) will meet on Saturday, October 4, to choose the ODI and T20i teams for Australia’s tour. They were appointed to name Rohit and Kohli in the Odi band amidst great speculation about their future in the Indian crochet game.

“The specified people are likely to sit on Saturday, which is the third day of the first continuous test against the West Indies in Ahmed Abad, to choose the difference. But there is no clarity yet on the team’s announcement,” the report was read at PTI.

Recently, Kohli and Rohit have returned to training and worked hard in the gym and networks to prepare themselves for Australia’s tour after moving away from the competitive cricket. They also passed the fitness tests conducted by the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) to announce its availability of the ODI series against Aussies.

Rohit Sharma is not dismissed !!

Earlier, some reports indicated that the Rohit captain is being threatened, as the BCCI Board (BCCI) is looking to hand over affairs to Chopman Girl from the ODI team.

However, the PTI report claims that BCCI is not in a mood to dismiss Rohit Sharma because it was doing well with bats, and the team also works well under its leadership.

The report added: “There is also no reason to remove Rohit from the role of leadership because he had almost failed to coordinate unless he himself wanted to focus on beating.”

It is worth noting that Rohit threw a lot of weight and has reached the maximum levels of his fitness with the attention of the Men’s Cricket World Cup for the year 2027, which will be played in African countries. It will be interesting to know if Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are considered to be in the next fifty World Cup. However, at the present time, BCCI is not concerned about it and focuses on the World Cup T20.

The report added, “The priority is currently with the T20 World Cup at early next year at home, and gaining the maximum WTC points from the four home tests in 2025,” the report added.
