Robin Amorim said that he is far from quitting smoking as Manchester United coach after a warning that he could move away if the results are not improved next season.

Amorim was “embarrassing” after West Ham came to Old Trafford and won for the first time in nine games to move over United, which was left by their horrific campaign in the Premier League in the sixteenth place in the table after losing 17 games.

United coach warned that every person in the club should “think seriously about many things” before he says they should “give space to other people” if the poor shape continues after the summer.

When asked whether he would be seriously resigned, Amorim said: “I am far from quitting smoking.”

He added: “What I say is that since I got here, I always talk about the criteria. I cannot see the team that gets these results, especially in the Premier League, and I do not say anything and take responsibility.”

“I have a clear plan for what to do. I understand the team’s problems.”

But the United coach, who excels in the wake of the defeat against West Ham, warned, “We need to perform, otherwise they will change us.”

Amorim also confirmed that he agreed to pay the price of his employees in the background to go to the European League final next week after reports claimed that the club would not cover the cost of their tickets.
