The Charitable Foundation for Combating Discrimination launched its new “United Football” strategy at an event in London on Thursday.

Kick IT plans to do this by affecting the ruling bodies to improve talent paths from all backgrounds.
The charity also called on everyone in football to determine the discrimination with “courage and consistency” in the strategy document.

He added: “The heart of our new strategy revolves around capturing this energy and working together through the game to build these societal movements to create a permanent change.”

“United, we can make welcome stadiums for every supporter. United, we can open the doors so that the players and the match of officials from each background on the field. United, we can destroy barriers to training and aid so that the clubs are more reflective of their societies. We can challenge – in the stadiums, via the Internet and through the game – with management and equation.
“These are not distant ambitions. They are goals that can be investigated over the next five years, as the ruling bodies, clubs, players, fans and similar organizations work in thinking about partnership. Unity and accountability can, and ambition must be turned into influence.”
