German weapons maker Rheinmetall opened the largest ammunition factory in Europe in northern Germany on Wednesday, which was praised by NATO President Mark Retty as a key to support Western defenses. The Unterlueue facility, which extends to 30,000 square meters, aims to produce 350,000 artillery shells annually by 2027.
