President Donald Trump held one of his televised “cabinet meetings” from the White House on Thursday, which mostly served as an opportunity for members of the Trump regime to court the president in disgusting ways. But Trump’s health secretary took the opportunity to embarrass himself on Thursday in a way that reminds us he’s completely unqualified.
Robert F. held Kennedy Jr., head of Health and Human Services (HHS), recently held a press conference with Trump to announce that pregnant women should no longer take Tylenol. During pregnancyin an attempt to claim that it causes autism. Kennedy brought up the topic on Thursday, referring to a TikTok video he watched.
“Someone showed me a video on TikTok of an 8-month pregnant woman — an associate professor at Columbia University School of Medicine — saying ‘F Trump’ and slurping down Tylenol with her baby in her placenta,” Kennedy said Thursday.
“The Trump derangement syndrome level has now left the political landscape and is now an illness,” Kennedy continued.
RFK Jr.: “Someone showed me a TikTok video of an 8-month-pregnant woman — an associate professor at Columbia University School of Medicine — saying ‘F Trump’ and swallowing Tylenol with her baby in her placenta. It’s now a disease level.”

Putting aside the Tylenol debate for a moment, any educated adult with two brain cells that could rub together could see a big problem with what Kennedy just said.
As one doctor at Bluesky Put it down: “As a doctor, I would note that if you have a fetus in your placenta, then something has already gone wrong.” The placenta is an organ that develops in the uterus and provides nutrients for transfer from the mother to the fetus. The fetus does not grow “in” the placenta, as Kennedy claimed Thursday.
It’s not entirely clear what TikTok video Kennedy was referring to, but Russian propaganda account RT posted a video September 23 It shows a woman taking Tylenol while she was 28 weeks pregnant. The video became popular on TikTok, and RT claims the woman is “PhD is a teacher at Columbia University in New York,” although the TikTok account was set as private, and Gizmodo was unable to confirm the person’s employment.
The video shared by RT appears to show the woman taking just one pill and saying that Tylenol “works like magic and my child will never develop autism.” It also doesn’t say “eff Trump.” The idea of pregnant women “gubbing” Tylenol in large quantities was a meme among the far right in the immediate aftermath of Kennedy and Trump’s press conference. But the videos that went viral largely show women taking one or two pills rather than “chewing” Tylenol as is often claimed.
There have also been unverified videos on TikTok and Instagram of people claiming women are dying because of it Tylenol overdose As a way to oppose Trump. There is no evidence that anyone overdosed on Tylenol as a way to pin it on Trump, despite what random people on social media have tried to claim.
What about this claim that she had a “baby in her placenta”? Kennedy’s ignorance of basic biological facts is troubling, but not entirely surprising. As the son of former Attorney General Robert Kennedy and nephew of President John F. Kennedy, the current Secretary of Health has lived a life of enormous privilege that has allowed him to get ahead in life. Kennedy, who was addicted to heroin for 14 years, claimed that the drug helped him become Better student. But Kennedy is not as smart as he thinks.
To give just one disgusting example of his ignorance, the Minister of Health wrote about the fact that Not believed In germ theory. Kennedy believed in the so-called miasma theory, which was popular in the early 19th century before science had advanced to understanding germs. As Ars Technica NotesKennedy doesn’t even seem to understand the miasma theory. Last May, Kennedy posted photos of himself showering in water contaminated with sewage.
Kennedy also tried to suggest Thursday that circumcision could be linked to autism because children are given Tylenol after the procedure. He then immediately backtracked and said, “None of this is my behavior,” apparently admitting that he was speaking inadvertently and that there was no specific causality.
Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason children develop autism.
“Children who are circumcised early have twice the rate of autism, and that’s very likely because they’re given Tylenol. None of this is positive…”

Kennedy, a longtime anti-vaccine activist, also inadvertently admitted that he was trying to find studies that fit his agenda rather than actually following the science.
President Trump has assembled some of the most unqualified people to ever serve in government. And they are all doing everything they can to dismantle the United States, whether it is by deploying troops there Invasion of American citiesAnd cut $1 billion in food for schools Food banksOr try to cancel Department of Education.
Trump will continue to strip away everything Americans hold dear as long as he holds office. (Did you hear him declare that he had to “take away” freedom of expression? yesterday?) And people like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made foolish statements that would be reprehensible offenses in any other political era.
