Inspectors from the Department of Agriculture found unsanitary conditions including “insects and slime” at Boar’s Head facilities outside the now-shuttered plant linked to a deadly listeria outbreak last year, reports show.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture issued a series of non-compliance reports linked to the hog chief based on requests from several news outlets, the Associated Press reported Tuesday.
