Hamas suggested on Thursday that the progress was made in “positive” talks to enhance the ceasefire with Israel, and it seems that it indicates that the predicament was approaching its end and that the hostages could be launched this week. There was no immediate comment from the Israeli government in the latest Hamas statements.
Officials all over the region were afraid that the fragile truce was in danger amid the formation of fingers between Israel and Hamas. Earlier this week, Hamas argued that Israel did not support the end of the deal and postpone it indefinitely to issue the Israeli hostages released on Saturday.
